PAYMENT POLICIES

Group Lessons

Most of our Group Classes are 4-Weeks in duration. Each class is 55 minutes.

Payment is due before your first class begins.

We offer a discount on some of our classes if paid 7 days prior to the first class start date. Please refer to the PRICING Heading shown below.

Payment for a Group Class/Lesson is valid for 30 days from the date of payment.

Private Lessons and First Dance Wedding Program

Payment is due prior to the time a lesson is scheduled. For Pricing, see the Pricing Header below.

A Private Lesson(s) cannot be scheduled in our Appointment Book until it is paid in full. Date and Time Availability is on a First Come, First Service Basis, as well as, the Instructor's Availability.

If you find that you cannot make your scheduled Private Lesson Appointment, you must notify the Centre 24-Hours Prior to that appointment in order not to be charged for that appointment.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, checks with name and address imprinted on them, MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards.
All returned checks are subject to a $25 fee plus any and all bank charges.

Discounts

If you sign up for a Level 1 class at our monthly Dance Party it is 50% off. If you sign up and pay for the next Level of your class 7 days before that class begins, you are eligible for a 10% discount on that new Level.
Some of our classes are not subject to the 10% discounts mentioned above.

Refunds, Credits, Make-ups

We are unable to offer Refunds, Credits or Transfers. Credit is issued ONLY if class is cancelled by Lorraine Michaels Dance Centre.

Make-Up Classes are available IF a 24 hour notice is given prior to the start of the intended missed class. Please note that the Make-Up Class is available in a different class other than the one that you were absent from.

Class Make-up Policy

Make-Up classes are available if 24 hour notice is given prior to the date of the intended absent/missed class.

This gives us time so arrangements can be made for someone to fill in so the class has an equal number of followers and leaders.

You are eligible for a Make-Up Slip from the front desk staff if 24-hours notice was given PRIOR to the absent/missed class.

The Make-Up slip can be used in a Group Class OTHER than the one that the absence occurred in.

The Make-Up Slip is only valid for Three Weeks from the date of the Absent/Missed Class.

NOTE: ONLY 2 MAKE-UPS ALLOWED PER 4-WEEK GROUP CLASS!

PRICING:

Most of our 4-Week Group Classes are $50.00. Line Dancing is $40.00. Each class is 55 minutes in length.

Kickboxing is $40.00 for 20 Sessions (Mon-Fri) over 4 Consecutive Weeks. You decide how many session you want to take. (Not Eligible for the 10% discount.)

There is 10% Discount if you sign up in person or over the phone w/credit card 7 Days before the first class starts.

$15.00 to Sample a 4-Week Class
$25.00 to Sample a 10-Week Class

RENT A PRACTICE ROOM:
$15.00 an hour - Please schedule this time with our Desk Staff.

PRIVATE LESSONS:
All Private Lessons are 55 minutes in length.

$60.00 for 1 (one)
$275.00 for 5 (five) - ($55.00 Each)
$500.00 for 10 (ten) - ($50.00 Each)

"FIRST DANCE" WEDDING PROGRAM:
$200.00 per Couple for 4 Private Lessons & One 4-Week Group Class in Ballroom or Latin.
Each Additional hour is $50.00 per couple.
